Our Top 5 Pubs And Bars In The Jewellery Quarter
Brimming with history and something of a golden glow, The Jewellery Quarter happens to be home to a lot more than diamonds and rings you know.
Brimming with independent bars and fanciful drinking holes, it's the perfect area to visit if you fancy a more relaxed change of pace from the city centre. So whether it be after work drinks or a catch-up over the weekend, here are our top 5 favourite pubs/bars in Birmingham's bustling Jewellery Quarter…
1) Ana Rocha

1) Ana Rocha
Love cocktails? Love wine? Enjoy authentic tapas? If the answer is yes (ours is), this is the place for you!!
Their integrated bar & gallery is a new exhibition concept which gives you the chance to browse their permanent collection of antiques, fine art paintings and luxury watches, show interest in buying a piece or simply enjoy a glass of red (or two, it’d be rude not to) with some tasty tapas!
2) Lord Clifden

2) Lord Clifden
Introducing your go-to place for a cold beer! With seven continental lagers on tap, as well as being one of only two pubs in Birmingham to supply ‘Budvar Yeast’, there’s something to suit all taste buds.
In the winter the inside is cosy and in the Summer the beer garden is a great place to hang out and try admirably at improving your ping-pong skills. There is a weekly quiz on a Thursday which we often frequent. If you spot our team there, make sure you say hi!
Football fan? You’re in luck! They also show live sport frequently. Our Director, Andy Kay, often enjoys watching Burnley lose while drowning his sorrows!
3) The Church

3) The Church
This hidden gem offers wood-fired pizza, sharing plates, a strong selection of cocktails, real ale and lots more. An ever-changing menu keeps you on your toes!
If you’re looking for a place to enjoy good food and a cocktail or two with family and friends… Voila!
4) The Red Lion

4) The Red Lion
What you’d call a “proper pub”! If you’ve got a few hours to spare, pull up a pew by the fire and sample their wide range of ales. We would recommend Bathams!
If you’re around on a Sunday, their delicious Sunday roast never goes amiss...Generous portions and loads of tasty veggies too! Great location, staff, beer and food… Need we say more?
5) St. Paul’s House

5) St. Paul’s House
When we make our way down to St. Paul’s Square, it usually involves a visit to St. Paul’s House for a bit of sophistication! It’s in “the middle” of the route between the Jewellery Quarter and Birmingham City Centre.
Heading on a night out in town? Start in the Jewellery Quarter, pit-stop at St. Paul’s house for a drink or two and end the night in the Colmore BID District, or if you’re James Clapham (our “dance the night away” Director)… End the night in Popworld on Broad Street.
